This is a very special Earth Day. Not only is it a day that we set aside to pay extra attention to the Earth and the environment, but this also happens to be the 50th anniversary of Earth Day! While many of us are stuck at home and can’t do the cleanups or other activities that we’ve done in the past, it is still a good time to think about what we have and what we can do in our own homes and businesses to help the Earth.

Many people don’t realize how damaging dog poo can be. However, it’s a big issue! Dog poo is not only stinky and annoying, it is high in phosphorus and nitrate, meaning that it can actually burn out the ground it’s sitting on. In high traffic areas, dog poo washes into the water and can become a huge pollutant. That’s why the WoofPack is so helpful. Awareness of dog-related issues.
There are many things that dog owners need to know! WoofPack is here to help you keep on top of issues that you might want to know about. One example would be the Countdown to Earth Day! There are plenty of great organizations out there that are in need of a little extra boost, including the Humane Society of Summit County. While the drawing for the WoofPack is over, they still need help raising money to fund the shelter over this next year. Learn more at their website!
